Prescription Refills
St. Bernard's Animal Medical Center prescription refill policy asks that you allow 24 hours for your pet's prescriptions to be refilled. This allows us time to review your pet's file and make sure no changes need to be made to the medication. Certain medications require blood testing and check ups at specific intervals.

If your pet's prescription medication or food is a special order item, please contact us 1 week prior to running out to allow time for ordering and shipping.
- If you wish to have it called into a local pharmacy please make sure to specify which one and provide the telephone number.
- St. Bernard's Animal Medical Center will not fax or telephone a prescription to any on-line pharmacy, such as Drs. Fosters & Smith, 1-800-PetMeds, or any other on-line service. Should you require a prescription for one of these companies we can write one for you.
- Please note, if your pet has not been examined at St. Bernard's Animal Medical Center within the last 12 months we are not able to dispense or script out any prescription medications for your pet.
- Some medications that are dispensed and have left the building (regardless whether opened or not)Â CAN NOT BE RETURNED according to FDA rules and regulations.
