Dr. Kim Everson
Veterinarian
In 2011, Dr. Everson founded St. Bernard’s Animal Medical Center on her family’s farm located midway between Oshkosh and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Previously, she practiced veterinary medicine in Eden and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
She is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, where she was chosen by her classmates three years in a row to receive the Student Academic Leadership Award in recognition of her knowledge, helpfulness and positive attitude. Dr. Everson graduated with highest honors from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and went on to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to complete a master’s degree in English before moving to Fond du Lac with her husband in 2001.Dr. Everson grew up on a small hog and hobby farm in Berlin, Wisconsin. Vivid memories of helping sows deliver their piglets motivated her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Still a fan of farm animals, Dr. Everson primarily serves companion animals and their owners. Dr. Everson takes pride in practicing quality veterinary medicine customized to the needs of the individual patient and its human family.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Everson enjoys spending time with her husband and three small children as well as their Labrador Retriever (EdGrrr), American Bulldog (Guppy), farm cats, corn snake and old goat Casper (a 9-yr-old Saanen). Her hobbies include reading, playing Angry Birds and restoring their old farmhouse. She also has been rediscovering her English major roots in the writing of her weekly blog, Practical PetVet.
