Appointments

We regret that we are not able to accept any new clients. We appreciate your interest and empathize with the struggle to find veterinary care. As a one-veterinarian practice, our current patient load has us booking into 2026 and 2027 for healthy pet visits, and we simply cannot accommodate additional patients. You may need to expand your search to over an hour away due to local veterinary staffing shortages.

Examinations, procedures and surgeries are by appointment. Every effort will be made to schedule your pet’s appointment at your earliest convenience!

Emergency cases for currently established patients shall always receive top priority, making appointment delay inevitable on occasion.

Because Dr. Kim Everson tries to accommodate a very full schedule of appointments and surgeries, it is not possible for her to take direct phone calls. The doctor will return your message as soon as possible to assist you with your non-emergency problem. If you feel your pet is having an emergency, please make the receptionist aware of the circumstances.

“Drop Off” Appointments

For your convenience, “drop-off” appointments are available. A “drop-off” means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave your pet with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to “drop-off” sometime in the morning so Dr. Everson can examine the patient between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the examination is done, you will be called to go over the diagnosis and give you at-home care instructions.

After-Hours Arrangements

Drop-off appointments for surgeries or examination and procedures may be scheduled before or after regular business hours at a time mutually convenient for the doctor and client.

Missed Appointments

We understand that “Life Happens” and a pet’s appointment might be forgotten. We make every effort to remind you in advance of upcoming appointments with a phone call, text message and/or email a day or two before the scheduled visit and with appointment reminders printed on your receipt at check-out.

Missed appointments are much more than an inconvenience for the veterinary clinic. For every missed appointment there is a pet in need of care that has been denied that appointment spot. If you cannot keep your appointment, please call to cancel well in advance of the scheduled time to avoid a Missed Appointment Fee ($50 per pet whose appointment was missed).

Our policy is that if there are two missed appointments, payment for the exam(s) be prepaid with credit card over phone or in person with cash before a third appointment can be rescheduled.
