Ashley Norton, Office Manager
Ashley Norton has been a full time veterinary assistant at St. Bernard’s Animal Medical Center for over a decade. She shares her home with five (yes, FIVE!) dogs: Toesy (lab), Gerald (dachshund), Fanny (dachshund), Baby (rat terrier mix) and Stormy (husky).
Ashley went to school at Ashworth College where she started online courses in May of 2011 for veterinary assistance to earn her diploma as an Animal Care Specialist. She finished her schooling with high honors in December of 2012.
Ashley has a special interest in weight management, behavior and end of life care for pets. Ashley is currently Fear Free certified and enjoys making vet visits as stress free as possible.
In her free time, she enjoys attending oddity conventions and thrifting/antiquing. During the summer time, she can often be found attending antique tractor shows with her boyfriend, Sean. She loves making art at home from many different mediums (upcycling clothing, painting, taxidermy, etc.)
Ever since Ashley was a little girl she knew she wanted to work with animals in any way possible. She loves being able to meet all kinds of new people and their pets every day, and she enjoys knowing that she can help their furry family members.
